WHAT IS A DOMAIN NAME?
A domain name is the address of your website. It will usually look something like www.yourcompany.com. Domain names can be purchased through a domain name registrar, and are registered to you in perpetuity—so you will never lose them.
Domain Name registration must be renewed annually via the registrar, or else the Domain Name becomes available for someone else to purchase.
By purchasing a domain name, you are securing an Internet identity, or web address, that relates to your company. When choosing a domain name, pick something that is memorable, descriptive of your endeavor, and short.
and .net--for your site.
You Already Own A Domain Name
If you already own a Domain Name, it is currently administered under some registrar. You can keep it and we can transfer it to the new platform.
If a new hosting account is used, this will be set up in your name, and hosting fees are payable by you. It retains your card details and future payments are taken automatically. You hence maintain full ownership of and control over your website and domain names.
All domains correctly added to the platform site are automatically protected with free SSL certificates to improve security. SSL secures connections and prevents hackers from impersonating you or stealing visitors' information.
